Job Summary
Provide customers with an exceptional experience in a garden retail setting by building relationships, assisting with product selections, and educating customers on horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assessing needs, educating on right selections, assisting with merchandising and operational procedures, maintaining stock and product presentation, rotating products, operating the POS, handling transactions, and contributing to floral/home décor displays. Requires strong communication, teamwork, flexibility to work in indoor/outdoor conditions, multitasking, organizational and problem-solving abilities, and willingness to participate in learning and product knowledge sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
