Job Summary
Retail garden department associate role focusing on customer experience and relationship-building. Responsibilities include greeting customers, helping them select plants and décor, educating on product options, assisting with merchandising and merchandise presentation, stocking and rotating products, operating the POS to process payments, handling signage, and maintaining store fixtures and cleanliness. Cross-train across departments, participate in product knowledge meetings, and support management in daily operations to drive store goals.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work inside and outside (rain or shine)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
