Job Summary
Lead and develop a Sales Floor Department within Lowe's Electrical and Plumbing, coaching and training associates to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, organized, and well-stocked store. Responsibilities include guiding merchandising decisions, down stocking, area recovery, safety walks, lifting guidance, and ensuring department coverage. The role combines customer-facing activities (greeting customers, identifying solutions, closing sales) with non-customer-facing duties (inventory management, safety compliance, training others) and may involve opening/closing the store or serving as manager-on-duty. Strong emphasis on cross-department collaboration, knowledge of store systems, and ability to lead a team to meet sales and service objectives; some travel to support neighboring stores/trainings may occur. This position requires broad product knowledge and effective communication to elevate store performance and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment
- 1 year of experience in customer service
- 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor)
- Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility)
- Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
