Job Summary
Greet guests, engage in conversation, and recommend merchandise with a focus on in-house brands while maintaining uniform standards and demonstrating core values. Stock shelves, rotate product for freshness, and set up displays to promote sales. Answer guest questions regarding price and usage, carry products to registers, and operate cash registers as needed. Maintain neat sales floors, clean aisles and tables, and ensure price tags remain readable. Provide feedback on stock levels and product movement to management, assist with inventory processes, and use RF scanner equipment. Maintain a valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit and Food Handlers Permit where required. Work full-time 35 hours or part-time up to 25 hours per week, available for any shift including Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- Valid Food Handlers Permit (in some cases)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to communicate with and understand coworkers and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate discounts and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday
- Must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more occasionally
- Must be able to push and/or pull 50 to 100 pounds or more regularly
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers to feel, handle, reach, and lift

- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
