Sales Floor Associate

Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations including receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely. Merchandise and stock assigned areas while maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal. Assist customers and manage sales transactions at the cash register, ensuring security of cash and company assets. Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions. Requires high school diploma, previous retail customer service experience, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, proficiency in basic math, and strong organizational skills. Part-time role at Dollar Tree Super Center in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
