Job Summary
Assist and liaise between customers and SGS technical teams to provide follow-up and feedback for technical questions and specification needs; visit existing customers for contract reviews; support and maintain contracts database; ensure customers are responded to adequately by customer care group; produce customer quotations; adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy; perform other responsibilities as assigned; travel nationwide occasionally. Strong emphasis on customer relationship management, technical acumen in chemistry/industrial services, MS Office/CRM proficiency, fluent English and local language, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer care, sales or business development in a technical services or industrial capacity
- STPM or Diploma or Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or equivalent would be an asset
- Proven track record of successful customer relationship & key account management
- Comfort in dealing with various levels of senior executives and management
- Knowledge in using MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to CRM software is an advantage
- Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide occasionally
- Good communication and effective interpersonal skills; able to develop good working relationships with people at all levels
- Must be fluent in local language & English (oral & written), with good report writing skills
- Independent.
- Fast learner and able to work independently.
- Excellent work ethics, good team player and self-motivated.
