Job Summary
Sales Executive (Sarawak - Kuching) drives sales through channel management by engaging and supporting assigned channels ( Telco Prepaid and Postpaid under Open Channel and Modern Trade ). Responsibilities include managing dealer and partner relationships, expanding dealer touchpoints, conducting regular sales visits using the 4-Step Sales Call approach, leading events/roadshows/roving campaigns, providing first-level system/product support to dealers/frontliners, and monitoring competitive activity to align with sales targets and brand presence. Requirements include 1 year experience in outsourced contract roles, minimum SPM with added advantage for Diploma/Degree in PR/communications, travel willingness, English/Bahasa proficiency, own transport, and comfort with sales metrics and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification
- Diploma or Degree in public relations and communications is an added advantage (stakeholder engagement, dealer relationships, and brand representation)
- Experience in sales, particularly with dealers, distribution channels, and telco operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-oriented and autonomous, able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel within assigned territories and work outdoors, including weekends and public holidays
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics and reporting
- Basic knowledge of Telco prepaid and postpaid products and services
- Must possess own transport and a valid driving license
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in English and/or other local dialects
- Tech-savvy with ability to troubleshoot basic system/product issues for dealers
