Job Summary
Field-based Oncology Sales Executive responsible for driving adoption of Myriad’s oncology portfolio across the assigned territory (ND/SD/NE). Deliver consultative, clinically driven solutions to oncology providers and healthcare stakeholders, educate teams on hereditary cancer testing, tumor profiling, and companion diagnostics, and support patient care pathways. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, develop strategic partnerships with opinion leaders, and attend local/regional conferences. Develop and execute territory business plans, identify growth opportunities across outpatient practices and health systems, and deliver compelling clinical presentations to oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and healthcare teams. Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, Market Access, and other internal teams to refine messaging and tools. Adhere to compliance standards and maintain professionalism in handling physician and patient-related information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of healthcare sales experience preferred
- Experience selling into oncology call points strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Strategic account management and territory planning expertise
- Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel extensively within territory (50–75%)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
