Job Summary
Sales Executive – Marine Industry responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new marina and waterfront customers across North America. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, conduct on-site and virtual demonstrations, and build a robust pipeline with support from BDR and Marketing. Travel ~50% to attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Sell a market-leading marina management SaaS platform, articulate ROI to marina decision-makers, and drive revenue growth while working in a remote US-based role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in hunter/new business development with a proven track record of exceeding quota
- 3+ years in sales with hospitality sales background, ideally in the marine industry
- Experience with SaaS or hospitality software solutions is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from cold outreach through negotiation and close
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to diagnose problems before prescribing solutions
- Experience selling software or technology solutions (SaaS preferred)
- Comfort with 50%+ travel, including overnight stays and weekend trade shows as needed
- Excellent presentation and demo skills, both in-person and virtual
- Proficiency with CRM tools and modern sales engagement platforms
- Self-starter mentality with ability to build your own pipeline
- Strong business acumen and ability to engage with owner-operators and C-level stakeholders
- Legally authorized to work in the US
