Job Summary
Sales Executive responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share across Botswana's hardware, construction materials, agricultural equipment, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities include business development and account management, identifying new opportunities, managing relationships with retailers, dealers, contractors, and stakeholders; conducting customer visits, delivering product demonstrations and training, coordinating orders from quotation to delivery, and ensuring timely delivery and stock availability. The role requires technical product knowledge, ability to negotiate pricing and terms, preparing quotations and proposals, monitoring market trends, and providing regular sales forecasts and management reports. Requires 3+ years in technical sales or related industries, fluency in English and Setswana, and a relevant degree or diploma with strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Sales, Business, Construction, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field accredited by BQA.
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Principles, Equipment Maintenance, or Product Repair will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Valid Class B Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- PRDP Goods certification will be an added advantage.
- Forklift Operator Certification will be an added advantage.
