Job Summary
Employee Benefits Sales Executive (Client Advisor) identifies, solicits, cultivates, and closes new employee benefits business for businesses of varying sizes. Designs and delivers employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits) and may extend to complementary solutions such as commercial and personal lines insurance, retirement plans, and payroll/HR outsourcing. Responsibilities include prospecting via cold calls, emails, mail, professional associations, and networking; identifying client exposures and recommending tailored programs; pursuing opportunities to round out accounts; maintaining client relationships through renewal workflows; leveraging World’s market access to deliver comprehensive, risk-managed solutions. Required traits include a consultative, client-focused approach, excellent listening and communication skills, attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and experience with Employee Benefits and sales software platforms like BenefitPoint and HubSpot CRM. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years+ experience in an insurance brokerage or carrier
- Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success
- Excellent listening skills and strong customer focus
- Consultative approach and resourceful problem solving
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and CRM like HubSpot
- Ability to work independently with strong teamwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
