Sales Executive – Automotive Bodyshop Paints

Job Summary
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for automotive refinish paints, coatings, and consumables by identifying new bodyshop accounts and conducting regular site visits. Execute product presentations, demos, and paint-system trials at customer locations while negotiating pricing, payment terms, and annual agreements. Monitor competitor activities and market intelligence, then prepare quotations, tenders, and proposals to ensure timely deliveries. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve product issues, color-matching problems, and warranty claims, while maintaining updated CRM records and tracking visit plans. Support marketing campaigns and trade shows, and actively manage collections to reduce overdue receivables in assigned accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, automotive technology or related field (or equivalent sales experience)
- 2–4 years of field sales experience, preferably in automotive paints, refinish products, lubricants, spare parts or related automotive aftermarket
- Valid driving license
- willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills with ability to close deals and manage objections
- Good understanding of automotive bodyshop operations (painting process, materials, productivity, color‐matching basics)
- High level of relationship‐building, networking and account‐management skills
- Self‐motivated, target‐driven, with strong ownership and follow‐up discipline
- Basic proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools and ability to prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Clear communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in English
