Job Summary

Drive adoption and utilization of Medtronic's Energy Based Devices (EBD) portfolio across assigned hospital accounts in Kolkata and nearby cities. Maintain regular operating theatre presence to support clinical cases, product usage, and customer training activities while conducting daily interactions with surgeons and healthcare stakeholders. Develop and execute account plans for key customers, lead product demonstrations and evaluations, and organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and monitor market dynamics to provide timely sales performance reporting. This field-based role requires frequent travel within the territory and focuses on improving procedural efficiency and patient outcomes across surgical environments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience*
  • Associate's Degree AND 2+ years experience*
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience selling electrosurgery, vessel sealing, surgical energy, capital equipment or other surgical device portfolios
  • Experience engaging and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical decision-makers
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and operating theatre workflows across multiple specialties
  • Experience conducting product evaluations, clinical demonstrations and customer training programmes
  • Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Conduct daily customer interactions with surgeons, operating theatre personnel and other healthcare stakeholders to identify opportunities and expand adoption
  • Lead product demonstrations, evaluations and clinical support activities to facilitate conversion and sustained utilization
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions and relevant clinical stakeholders
  • Organize approved customer education initiatives, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes and territory-specific marketing activities in collaboration with commercial leadership
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity and procedural trends, and provide accurate and timely reporting on sales performance and business opportunities
