Job Summary
The Restoration Sales Estimator educates customers on the restoration process, assesses property damage, develops accurate scopes of work, and delivers detailed estimates using industry-standard tools such as Xactimate. Responsibilities include aligning estimates with client requirements and insurance carrier guidelines, creating clear sketches and scopes, collaborating with Project Managers and field teams to validate pricing and production approaches, and communicating estimate details to customers, insurers, and internal teams. The role requires a bachelor’s-level degree (preferred) in a related field and at least 2 years of restoration estimating experience, with strong customer-service, documentation, and organizational skills, and a willingness to travel locally to job sites. Proficiency in Xactimate and familiarity with insurance guidelines is expected; IICRC or Xactimate training certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration estimating, water/fire mitigation, and/or insurance adjusting
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed
- IICRC Certifications Preferred
- Xactimate Training Preferred
