Job Summary
Sales Estimator role focusing on preparing accurate sales estimates for tenders and contracts across single and double-storey home designs, obtaining quotations for variations/upgrades, preparing tender documentation, reviewing plans and engineering to ensure estimate accuracy, performing QA on estimating docs, liaising with internal stakeholders, and driving improvements in estimating accuracy and efficiency while supporting customers and internal teams with technical and pricing queries.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in a Sales Estimating role within the residential building industry
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, terminology and costs
- Knowledge of ResCode, the National Construction Code and Victorian building requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans and supporting documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team environment
- Experience working in a volume home-building environment will be highly regarded
