Job Summary
Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations for WithSecure Linux Protection, Atlant scanning-as-a-service, and Elements EDR. Architect integration solutions connecting Atlant's REST API or ICAP interface to customer workflows such as email gateways, file storage, CI/CD pipelines, and web proxies. Advise customers on deployment patterns including bare-metal, VM, and container environments while tuning for high-throughput scanning. This role requires 5+ years of pre-sales or solutions architecture experience with strong Linux expertise, EDR knowledge, and REST API proficiency. Fluency in Japanese and English is essential for explaining complex security concepts to SMB customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role within the cybersecurity or IT industry
- Strong Linux expertise: comfortable administering RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu systems, reading logs, troubleshooting services, and understanding file system and process-level security concepts
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions — understanding of detection logic, alert investigation, behavioral indicators of compromise (IoCs/IoAs), and response actions
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs — able to write or adapt code samples (Python, curl, or similar) for integration demonstrations
- Experience with at least one of: endpoint security, EDR/XDR, anti-malware, content scanning, ICAP, or similar security technologies
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese (native or business-level) and English (business-level) — able to explain complex security concepts clearly to SMB customers who may not have dedicated security teams
