Job Summary
Inside Sales Engineer to facilitate, prepare, and execute all aspects of the sales cycle from RFQ to delivery for Custom Air Handler Units; act as intermediary between our sales representative network and internal Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely and accurate quotations; prepare project quotations, present quotations to customers, and provide required technical submittals upon acceptance; promote Thermal Corporation as a partner for new applications; manage the entire sales process and customer relationship to drive sales; deliver sales presentations and gather customer information to support marketing plans and sales strategies; collaborate with Sales Reps, engineers, and field teams; required excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and the ability to interact with customers both over the phone and in person; CAD familiarity is a plus; move and present at trade shows or lab demonstrations as needed; physical and logistical coordination with internal teams to meet corporate objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field (preferred)
- Some prior commercial HVAC systems experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial HVAC control systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, schedules, technical drawings, and contract specifications
