Job Summary
Sales Engineer specializing in the Venezuelan region, responsible for acting as the single point of contact for Ruhrpumpen sales and customer support within the defined territory, driving revenue growth through direct sales and distributor networks. Develop and maintain relationships with buying influences and maintenance professionals, qualify customer needs, manage forecasts and budgets, represent Ruhrpumpen products including non-OEM offerings, collaborate with customers to define project scope and generate compliant proposals, negotiate orders including technical, commercial, and legal terms, coordinate with Inside Sales for quotes, track customer satisfaction, assess market potential, and travel frequently (70-80%) to cover the territory. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years in pump industry sales in Venezuela, strong CRM experience (Salesforce/Sugar), and fluency in English (B2).
Required Qualifications
- Legal residence and work authorization in Venezuela required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles in the Pump industry in Venezuelan market
- Experience in B2B Sales to the Chemical, Oil & Gas and/or Industry in General
- Extensive knowledge of the market and technical knowledge of pumps applied to the products and services as well as of mechanical seals
- Extensive working relationship with key people in the industry, capable to relate with customer and representatives
- Availability and willingness for constant traveling (70-80% of the time)
- English level B2 is requiered
- Good decision-making skills, analytical, results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms in a sales or marketing environment, Salesforce/Sugar
- High professional ethics
