Job Summary
Sales Engineer role focused on growing Kollmorgen’s OEM footprint in South China by identifying new opportunities with machine builders across industries such as Li-battery, metal forming, and robotics; responsibilities include collaborating with OEM clients to understand needs, recommending Kollmorgen solutions, supporting design-in, promoting new products tailored for machine builders, expanding OEM networks, providing technical support for seamless integration, analyzing market trends, and participating in customer negotiations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of technical sales/sales engineering experience with OEM customers; strong communication/negotiation, account management, and customer-success orientation; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for local OEM communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field; familiarity with motion control systems for OEM applications (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering focused on OEM customers (machine builders) in industries such as SEMI, metal forming, robotics, or related fields
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to collaborate with OEM clients and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage key OEM accounts, develop long-term client relationships, and drive sales growth
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset; commitment to customer success and delivering innovative, purpose-driven solutions
