Sales Engineer – Public Sector

Job Summary
Lead technical direction and business guidance for the regional sales team by evangelizing Rubrik's Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools to UK Public Sector customers including NHS and Education. Drive innovative technical programs, pipeline generation, customer demonstrations, and POCs while overseeing account-level activities. Act as a trusted technology advisor to uncover customer problems through discovery, make technical and sales presentations to senior management, and qualify opportunities based on technical requirements and decision-making processes. Partner with Account Executives on whiteboarding sessions and expansion opportunities. Requires 5+ years of sales engineering experience with Azure or AWS expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Azure
- Strong expertise in AWS
- familiarity with cloud data management
- familiarity with backup
- familiarity with disaster recovery
- familiarity with cyber resiliency
- Ideally Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Public Sector background
Desired Qualifications
- experience preferably in cloud infrastructure
- experience preferably in SaaS security
- experience preferably in data centre
- Public Sector background is a plus
