Job Summary
The Sales Engineer role at Peterson Power Systems involves reviewing technical documents and project requirements for new equipment sales of Caterpillar and Peterson supplied power generation products. Responsibilities include creating initial configurations for complex projects, providing technical support to sales representatives, reviewing and proposing solutions for project bid documents, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and working closely with Project Managers. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience are required for this mid-level position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree from a fully accredited college in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other closely related field
- Minimum of three years of directly related experience in power generation or construction industry
- Valid driver's License with an acceptable driving record
