Sales Engineer - Marketplace Partnership

Job Summary
Sales Engineer to translate complex Amazon marketplace capabilities into actionable solutions in a customer-facing, technical selling capacity. Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, diagnose brand challenges, and architect tailored solutions across Amazon and marketplace channels. Build data-driven insights from tools like Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central, Jungle Scout/Keepa/SmartScout, and craft compelling business cases for senior leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, brand strategy, and finance to convert prospects into clients, drive new brand partnerships, and shape deal strategy from pre-sale through delivery. Requires 4+ years in sales/sales engineering, 2+ years in Amazon/eCommerce, strong data synthesis, excellent written and verbal communication, and a track record of adapting messaging to account needs.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in sales or sales engineering within a cross-functional, matrixed environment
- 2+ years of experience in Amazon/eCommerce
- Strong expertise in Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and deliver meaningful insights to senior leadership
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal
- Bias for action and progress with prospective clients
- Adapts messaging, presentations, and strategies based on each account’s challenges and goals
- Develop cross-functional relationships to leverage specialized expertise
- Stay current on industry trends across ecommerce and marketplace landscape
