Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives to understand customer OT/IT integration challenges in Industry 4.0, then demonstrate how the Litmus platform delivers measurable value. You’ll bring hands-on knowledge of the factory floor—discrete and batch production, industrial software ecosystems, and the realities of connecting OT to IT. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery, delivering tailored product demos and solution presentations, deploying and supporting small pilots/ PoCs, collaborating with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, responding to RFIs/RFPs with compelling technical content, and relaying customer feedback to Product Management. Must have 3–5 years in manufacturing/industrial automation, experience in pre-sales or sales engineering, ability to engage with OT and IT stakeholders, and scripting/API skills. Preferred additional experience includes SCADA, MES/MOM, Historians, cloud infra (Azure/AWS/GCP), databases, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and BS/MS in Electrical/Industrial/Computer Engineering; knowledge of industries like Automotive, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, or Chemical manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of technical experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, OT/IT, or a related field
- Experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical role
- Ability to engage credibly with both OT engineers and business/IT stakeholders
- Comfort with scripting (Python or JavaScript) and working with APIs
- BS/MS in Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
