Job Summary
Sales Engineer for HVAC and Renewable Systems in Minneapolis, MN. Build and maintain relationships with manufacturer representatives, engineering firms, contractors, national accounts, and end users; provide technical sales support through the project lifecycle; deliver technical presentations/demonstrations; collaborate with engineering/preconstruction/operations teams to pursue opportunities; manage pricing, proposals, and customer communications; participate in trade shows and industry events; act as a technical liaison between customers, channel partners, and internal teams; support CRM and channel partner engagement; travel for customer meetings and events; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related technical discipline) and 3+ years in HVAC/mechanical systems sales or related fields. Hybrid and remote flexibility depending on territory and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC systems, mechanical systems sales, technical sales, applications engineering, or related industries
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with manufacturer representatives, engineering firms, contractors, or national account customers preferred
- Ability to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Experience with CRM systems, technical presentations, and consultative sales environments preferred
- AutoCAD, Revit, or related technical software exposure is a plus
