Job Summary
Sales Engineer responsible for introducing the company's product line to potential customers, conducting sales meetings and presentations, writing complete sales proposals, assisting in sales estimates and quotes, developing proposal drawings/models, negotiating commercial and technical terms, coordinating Project Scope Review meetings, supporting the Project Team post-kickoff with change orders and customer liaison, providing weekly CRM updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, operations), and meeting annual sales targets. Requires metal-industry sales experience, foundry/heat-treatment equipment knowledge, strong communication, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and willingness to travel intensively.
Required Qualifications
- Sales experience in metal industry
- Foundry experience
- Technical degree
- Experience with equipment to operate a heat treatment system
- Strong business problem solving, PC, time management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills
- Ability to travel intensively
- Experience in writing sales proposals and quotes
- Ability to develop proposal drawings/models
- Experience with CRM and reporting
