Job Summary
Sales Engineer for Industrial MRO in Pekanbaru focusing on engineering-based sales to distributors and end customers. Develop and implement area strategy with Area Manager to increase bearing sales and services, deliver technical and engineering support, align with Total Cost of Ownership considerations, train distributors and end users, visit application sites, gather market and competitor intelligence, support after-sales service and quality resolutions, and build relationships with major end customers while ensuring effective communication in English.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, min. 7 years experiences (In Engineering/ Manufacturing Industry)
- Experiences & knowledge in heavy industries (Pulp & Paper, Cement, etc.) process and having good network within the assigned areas
- Knowledge on rotary and linear bearings, and basic knowledge in electrical direct drives
- Strong interest in sales, project management, customer-oriented mindset with proven sales record
- Outgoing, Organized, Structured, Presentable, Professional
- Computer literacy and good communication in English is a must
