Job Summary
The Sales Engineer I will be responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating pre-sale engagements with prospects to drive new business. Key responsibilities include preparing and delivering high-quality technical software demonstrations, understanding client requirements, handling objections, and building relationships with stakeholders. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, 1-3 years of experience in technical sales or related roles, and excellent communication skills. Candidates are expected to have strong technical acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and a willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineer, or a related role
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new initiatives
- Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Willingness to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of industry, market, and the competitive landscape
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Prior experience with SaaS and enterprise software
