Job Summary
Sales Engineer role applying engineering knowledge to identify client needs, develop and maintain client relationships, promote Hoffman Hydronics products and services through sales calls, presentations, and factory visits, and provide equipment recommendations, specifications, and detailed information. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree (engineering, business, or construction management) with 3+ years of direct industry experience; PE license is preferred but not required. The position involves educating clients on product offerings and applications, developing sales plans with core customers, maintaining records, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and traveling as needed. The role emphasizes becoming an expert in the field, strong communication and presentation skills, problem solving, and ongoing professional development, with an office environment and moderate travel as part of normal duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 or more years of direct industry experience and strong references required
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred but not required
