Job Summary
Sales Engineer to drive new automotive-automation sales in the axle segment; responsibilities include growing sales, promoting automation solutions, managing key accounts, visiting customer sites to define automation concepts, collaborating with technical teams on proposals, and achieving annual targets. Requires 5+ years in selling custom automation, strong communication/presentation/negotiation skills, axle experience preferred, willingness to travel up to 50%, and an engineering degree (preferred or equivalent experience). Based in Detroit, MI with up to 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience selling custom automation solutions
- Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Leadership ability
- Axle experience strongly preferred
- Experience in systems integration / automation environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to develop and close new business
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international)
