Job Summary
Sales Engineer provides technical and commercial support to customers, partners, and outside sales teams throughout quotation and implementation phases of explosion protection projects. Responsibilities include participating in sales activities, following up on leads, logging and tracking activities in CRM/SFDC, providing technical support to outside sales, building BOMs and quotes, coordinating design and service data, updating orders or credits as needed, and ensuring adherence to applicable standards (e.g., ATEX). Essential skills include analytical thinking, project management, strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with SFDC and Google G-Suite. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience; preferred candidates have inside sales or engineering experience in explosion protection or related industries; knowledge of AutoCAD/3D modelling and European languages is a plus. Compensation range is $67,527 to $84,402 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical, sales, or marketing field.
- Ability to read and understand technical (electrical and mechanical) drawings and customer and industry standards.
- Ability to share knowledge across multiple teams.
- Proficient PC skills, especially in SFDC and Google G-Suite.
