Job Summary
Front-End Sales Engineer in ABB Motors & Drives Switzerland. You will implement the sales strategy and distribute ABB products to customers in Switzerland, consult and convince customers of benefits, acquire new clients, and systematically conclude contracts with business partners. You will lead project tendering activities, coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver competitive technical and commercial proposals, influence engineering companies and key decision-makers early in the project lifecycle, build strong customer relationships, and manage sales processes and documentation (including account plans and SFDC reporting). The role requires travel throughout Switzerland, mainly in the German-speaking part, and is performed in a hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or diploma of higher education (TS/HF) in a technical field
- In-depth technical knowledge of motors, generators, drives, and services
- Demonstrated experience in the management of customer accounts and sales strategy with proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Availability for travel throughout Switzerland, but mainly in the German-speaking part
- Fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage
