Job Summary
The Sales Engineer - Data Security will act as a trusted advisor in the Japan market, collaborating with Regional Sales Managers and partners to deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations. The role requires understanding customers' security challenges and mapping solutions to meet their needs. Responsibilities include leading Proof of Concept engagements, acting as a subject matter expert on data security, and engaging with partners for self-sufficiency. Required qualifications include a relevant degree and extensive pre-sales experience, alongside technical expertise in security solutions and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or Equivalent Experience
- 5+ years pre-sales experience in the computer networking or security space
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English (preferably Eiken Pre-1+ and TOEIC 800+)
- Excellent knowledge and experience with a variety of IT technologies and security solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Security certifications such as ISC2, GIAC, IPA
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills

- Candidate must be based in Tokyo
