Job Summary
Manage direct sales activities for cutting tools and metalworking solutions by conducting trials, demonstrations, and product presentations on customer machines. Lead end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, estimation, negotiation, and closing while providing technical support, troubleshooting, and after-sales service to drive business growth. Oversee profitability of assigned product groups, handle order management, payment collections, and prepare commercial and technical proposals. Visit customers regularly across Tamil Nadu, Andhra, and Karnataka to meet sales objectives and collaborate with the team to exceed revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- 2-10 years experience in Industrial sales, preferably Cutting tools and metal working solutions
- Fluent in English & Tamil - Read/Write/Speak
- To be based in below locations - Chennai
- Ability to Travel & Meet customers regularly (Tamilnadu, Andhra & Karnataka)
- Basic IT system knowledge, email communication, CRM & Quotation preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates having knowledge and experience in CNC machining products and carbide cutting tools are best fit for this position
- He should be familiar with industrial products such as Kennametal, Widia, Bahco or other similar products
- Should have sound technical and commercial knowledge
- He should be a team worker, collaborate with the team to achieve and exceed the company's overall sales revenue
- Should be familiar with manufacturing processes and machinery used in industrial operations
- Should be able to manage commercial negotiations with sound techno-commercial knowledge
- Good command over spoken and written English & Tamil
