Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for acting as the primary technical support for the sales force, managing technology evaluation stages of the sales process. They must demonstrate excellent presentation skills and be able to efficiently communicate technology value propositions to customers. The role involves delivering compelling product demonstrations and effectively understanding and articulating how Harness solutions resolve business problems. Candidates should possess strong cloud knowledge, experience with infrastructure automation, and a background in software development or DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to articulate technology and product positioning
- World class presentation skills
- Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions
- Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Capable of conveying customer requirements to Engineering teams
Desired Qualifications
- Strong cloud knowledge
- Experience with infrastructure automation such as Terraform
- Background in software development or DevOps role
