Job Summary
Develop existing customers and identify new business opportunities for electrical heat-tracing and thermal-management products across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Build strong relationships with industrial end users, contractors, and OEMs through frequent direct visits to understand applications and translate requirements into suitable solutions. Manage opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and closing while delivering agreed sales, margin, and growth targets. Grow recurring business and local industrial projects by developing new customers and the existing installed base. Maintain accurate sales forecasts in the CRM system and execute account plans for priority customers. Monitor market developments, planned investments, and competitor activity while collaborating with technical and commercial colleagues to provide the right solutions. Requires approximately 50% travel, fluent Dutch, and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's level in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or another relevant technical field, or equivalent through experience
- Approximately 3–5 years of technical B2B sales experience
- Commercially driven and comfortable developing new business
- Able to understand technical applications and explain customer value clearly
- Independent, structured and comfortable managing customers across a sales territory
- Fluent in Dutch
- Valid driving license
- Willing to travel regularly throughout the Benelux, primarily within the Netherlands
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in industrial electrical products, process technology, instrumentation, HVAC or related technical solutions
- Experience working with industrial end users, contractors or OEM customers
- The ability to speak and write French
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system
- Basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low-voltage electrical power distribution
- Knowledge of, or experience within, one or more relevant industrial sectors, such as refining, petrochemicals, chemical processing, power generation or utilities
