Job Summary
Lead technical deep dives, tailored demos, and solution walkthroughs for mid-market and enterprise prospects while running structured technical discovery to understand customer systems and integration needs. Design and validate customer-specific solutions that meet technical, operational, and business requirements, serving as the primary technical owner in pre-sales to partner with Account Executives on deal strategy. Answer complex questions around product architecture, AI behavior, scalability, and security, and address technical objections by advising on best-practice deployment and rollout strategies. Support pilots, trials, and technical validation efforts, ensuring smooth handoffs from pre-sales to post-sales while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and customer teams to unblock deals.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar pre-sales technical role in B2B SaaS
- Comfortable leading technical conversations with mid-market and enterprise customers across complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, APIs, and integrations
- Able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Trusted, credible, and customer-oriented in high-stakes sales environments
- Comfortable managing multiple deals and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience supporting enterprise or technically complex sales motions
- Familiarity with AI-powered products, conversational AI platforms, or data-driven systems
- Background in implementations, technical program management, customer onboarding, or post-sale handoffs
- Familiarity with call center software, communications platforms, or CRM integrations
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Thrives on owning processes end-to-end and balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity
- A proactive and effective communicator
- You are collaborative, organized, and efficient
- Eager to work in person at our NYC office full time
