Job Summary
Sales Engineer to support customer projects and drive growth within an industrial automation environment. Responsibilities include partnering with customers and distributors to understand requirements, designing custom solutions using engineering tools, providing product support and guidance on design and assembly, preparing quotes and managing a robust sales pipeline, developing strategic partner relationships within an assigned territory, and coordinating multiple project timelines with travel to support customers and partners as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Automation or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience in application engineering, technical sales, or solution-based selling
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize competing demands, and support customer needs
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to grow business and exceed goals
