Job Summary
Sales Engineer at Automation Anywhere focused on value-based selling and technical advocacy for Agentic Process Automation. Responsibilities include leading technology evaluation stages with enterprise customers, engaging C-Suite and technical stakeholders, demonstrating tailored integrations, leading strategic evangelization through workshops and events, architecting growth infrastructure, and building long-term customer relationships. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in professional experience with 3+ years in sales/pre-sales in Intelligent Automation/Cloud/Generative AI, hands-on experience with automation platforms, familiarity with enterprise ecosystems, and travel up to 50%. Remote work is enabled in the US (Central Time Zone or Bay Area) with a base salary of $165k-$180k plus equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required)
- 4+ years of overall professional experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sales/pre-sales roles within Intelligent Automation, Cloud, Generative AI and related fields
- Hands-on expertise in automation platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism)
- Experience selling into industries such as Supply Chain/Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail with deep industry knowledge
- Proficiency in enterprise-grade application ecosystems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday) and their integration within automation strategies
- Familiarity with Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their advanced solution offerings including RAG and LLMs
- Certifications in leading automation platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UiPath) and cloud technologies are a plus
- Ability to travel up to 50% on short notice
