Job Summary

Sales Engineer responsible for delivering high-impact pre-sales technical expertise and solution design to drive revenue. partners with Account Managers to articulate product value, design tailored networking and cybersecurity solutions, and guide prospects through the sales cycle. Owns all technical aspects of the sales process—from discovery and solution design to technical validation, PoCs, competitive evaluations, and live demonstrations (onsite or remote). Builds relationships across customer IT environments to map infrastructure, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for upsell. Supports pipeline by accurately forecasting opportunities and collaborating with regional leadership. Requires travel within the assigned territory (~40–50%).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years in a pre-sales engineering, post-sales network engineering, or technical pre-sales support role
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Networking technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP)
  • Proven success in customer-facing roles with ability to understand complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions
  • Strong background in networking and systems, including core networking technologies (Cisco routing, switching, gateways) and related concepts
  • Experience with PoCs, bake-offs, and product demonstrations
  • Travel within territory (40–50%)
