Job Summary
Sales Engineer role at Ampowr serving as the technical bridge between Sales and clients for BESS + EMS projects. You’ll translate customer requirements into tailored solution proposals, build business cases (ROI, payback, revenue stacking), create tailored quotations based on standard configurations, support deal cycles with technical input, and stay updated on energy storage market trends. Location is Utrecht, NL with a hybrid work setup; required to engage in cross-functional collaboration and deliver accurate, competitive proposals in English and Dutch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in a technical or technical-commercial role, ideally within the energy sector with exposure to energy storage or related technologies
- Academic or practical understanding of electrical systems, battery storage technologies, and renewable energy integration, or a clear willingness and ability to learn these quickly
- Affinity with energy market and ambition to contribute to the energy transition in Europe
- Experience in quotation and proposal development, and solution design, plus an interest in the commercial side (business cases, ROI, market positioning)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Full proficiency in English and Dutch languages
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality quotations and proposals that meet client expectations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and juggle multiple priorities effectively
