Job Summary
Sales Engineer for Air Compressor Division develops and presents technical sales proposals, sizes customer systems, conducts air-system surveys, and designs engineered solutions for plants, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and executives. Builds and maintains industry contacts, generates leads, performs cold calls, stays current on industry trends and government regulations, and drives bookings to meet revenue quotas. Responsible for coordinating with accounts receivable, order processing, and developing a sub-dealer network within the geographic territory to foster customer loyalty and ensure successful aftersales collaboration. Requires strong sales, presentation, and communication skills, proficiency with Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel, and ability to operate a forklift. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years of sales experience (industrial sales preferred)
- Must be able to properly operate a forklift (company certification required)
- Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish)
