Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will support the Business Development team with Pre-Sales engineering, opportunity analysis, and customer engagements. Responsibilities include gathering and defining customer technical requirements, technical support in proposal preparation, performing risk mitigation, and presenting technical aspects for approval. Candidates must possess extensive SATCOM system experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or related technical area
- Extensive knowledge of satellite communications-related products and technologies
- Minimum of 10 years SATCOM system/product applications, system architectures, specifications and performance engineering experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Problem-solving ability while reacting to changing situations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Very good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial and Military SATCOM experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Non-US acquisition procedures (Government and Commercial) preferred
