Job Summary
Drive revenue growth across Process Automation and Factory Automation portfolios by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored automation solutions in Penang, Kedah, Ipoh, Johor, and Melaka territories. Analyze customer requirements to recommend integrated product solutions, prepare technical proposals, and coordinate with engineering teams for successful project execution. Act as a trusted advisor by conducting regular customer visits, seminars, and product demonstrations while monitoring market trends and competitor activities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales plans with regional objectives and maintain accurate forecasts using CRM tools. Achieve assigned sales targets through cross-selling and upselling strategies within the assigned regions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field relevant to Process and Factory Automation)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or application engineering within the industrial automation industry, with exposure to Process Automation and/or Factory Automation solutions
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation, process control systems, and instrumentation, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical and value-driven solutions
- Proven track record in managing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
- Experience engaging with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and end-users across relevant industries (e.g., material handling, oil & gas, electronics, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or process equipment)
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational and matrix organization, with exposure to international business practices and cross-functional collaboration
- Own transportation
- Willing to travel extensively within the two territories: Penang, Kedah, and Ipoh / within Johor, and Melaka territories
