Job Summary
Strategic Accounts Sales Director leading end-to-end enterprise SaaS sales in India across multiple verticals (Consumer Internet, Retail, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Travel & Hospitality). Own and grow key accounts with 100% ownership, engage CXO-level stakeholders, and drive from product demos through technical evaluation to negotiation and closing. Build a network of influencers, map competition, and stay ahead of technology trends to shape MoEngage’s presence. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing to generate leads, nurture opportunities, and convert them into deals while evangelizing market trends and representing MoEngage at external events. Responsible for establishing account relationships with key decision-makers, driving customer success, and expanding opportunities within region, leveraging a strong SaaS/MarTech background, a proven quota-achievement record, and a robust professional network. Must be able to pitch to C-level executives, perform product demonstrations, and effectively manage multi-stakeholder engagements across PAN India with a focus on strategic growth.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of closing experience in sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the SaaS domain for the Indian region, preferably MarTech
- Strong network of clients/connections in traditional industries
- Experience pitching to C-level executives in marketing/product or technology domains of traditional companies
- Experience conducting product demonstrations with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging
- Strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
- Detail-oriented, organized & self-motivated
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales quota throughout
