Job Summary
Sales Director responsible for developing market segments and soliciting new customer relationships while maintaining existing accounts in an amusement/hospitality events environment. Serves as the park’s ambassador to foster relationships with individuals and corporations who book events, prospecting for new opportunities across on-site park venues, trade shows, and public events. Drives marketing of the park and active participation in social media to raise awareness, with a focus on maximizing event revenues and meeting or exceeding sales goals and budgets through the sale of groups of 10 guests or more and by negotiating tournament product and tee-time utilization. Collaborates with the General Manager and Operations on menu design and event scheduling for upcoming events, and builds a team through teaching, coaching, and mentoring aligned with the Five Star brand and sales leadership culture. Requires the ability to develop and execute a definitive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals, strong leadership and people skills, proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Word/Excel, willingness to work weekends, and a valid driver’s license. College degree preferred or 3-5 years of related sales experience in hospitality/restaurant/service industry, and knowledge of social media tools (LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) to drive sales.
