Job Summary
Lead strategic sales for the Friction & Rubber Group at Wabtec, driving profitable growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and positioning the full portfolio in tender-driven environments. Drive pre-tender activities, ensure disciplined execution across pricing, contracts, and delivery, and collaborate with regions and functions while providing performance updates to senior leadership. Requirements include a degree in Business or Engineering and several years in senior sales roles, with a proven track record in key account management, complex negotiations, international collaboration, and strong stakeholder management; fluency in German and English; EU work authorization is required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in senior sales roles within industrial or technology-driven environments
- Proven track record in key account management and complex commercial negotiations
- Experience working in international, cross-functional environments
- Strong strategic thinking and customer-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in German & English
- A legal work permit in the EU is required
