Job Summary
Sales Director responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s Market Leading Advertising platform within the New York region. Drive revenue by managing a dedicated book of business, partnering with brands and agencies, qualifying opportunities from marketing-led channels, executing high-volume prospecting (cold calls, presentations, RFP responses), upselling on new products, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure campaign success. Requires deep knowledge of online media, established NY network, Salesforce proficiency, and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets; preferred to have a Bachelor’s degree in Media/Marketing/Advertising, plus 5+ years in digital ad sales and relationships with IPG agencies. The role offers flexibility to work in-office or remotely with occasional in-person collaboration, located within commutable distance to the NYC office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, or Advertising
- 5+ years of proven digital advertising sales experience
- experience managing a book of business exceeding $5.5M or similar revenue responsibility
- Proficiency with SalesForce for pipeline management and reporting
- strong communication and presentation skills
