Job Summary
Sales Development Specialist (SDE) at SAP driving demand generation, managing a defined territory in APAC with a data-driven, consultative approach to accelerate digital transformation for SAP solutions. Responsibilities include promoting SAP offerings via email/phone/social channels, securing new customer meetings, guiding early-stage pipeline, executing demand generation campaigns, improving data quality, and collaborating with sales and demand teams. Requires 1-2 years in software business development, CRM experience, strong relationship-building and KPI management, and ability to articulate industry transformation trends.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in business development within the software industry
- Familiarity with SAP portfolio, particularly ERP, HCM, Customer Experience, & Spend Management
- Experience working with customer engagement platforms and CRM systems
- Understanding of standard data privacy and protection rules when working with B2B prospects data
- Ability to establish strong business relationships with SAP sales, marketing, and leadership teams
- Ability to articulate business challenges and transformation trends related to a specific industry
- Experience in strategic prospect outreach through a variety of engagement channels and tactics
- Ability to manage and prioritize work against a set of KPIs
- Understanding of standard demand generation funnel principles, customer engagement tactics and funnel progression practices
- Strong customer focus, business acumen and executive presence
