Job Summary
As a Sales Development Representative (Meeting & Events), you will be the first point of contact for inbound meetings and events enquiries, qualify leads, build proposals, and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings. You will proactively prospect for new business through outbound calls, emails, and social media to maintain a healthy sales pipeline. You’ll upsell catering, AV, and add-on services to maximise revenue and occupancy, coordinate event details with clients and vendors, maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot), and support national inbound inquiries to ensure service standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in sales or hospitality (events or venue sales)
- confident communicator across phone, email, and in person
