Job Summary

Sales Development Representative at Imperative Recruiting (agency) — remote, part-time, contractor. Help identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities for two brands (RPO recruiting and virtual assistance). Responsibilities include lead generation and prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn; CRM maintenance; qualify leads through discovery calls; schedule meetings or demos; manage the sales funnel and follow-ups; build relationships with potential and existing clients; represent the company at events; collaborate with subsidiary teams; monitor market trends; provide KPI reporting and maintain CRM records.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of experience in a sales, outreach, or lead generation role (B2B preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated—able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Curious and eager to learn about different industries (recruiting, VA services, etc.)
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection—it’s part of the game!
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email tools, and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or similar) is a plus
